The most common reader complaint about indie fiction is not quality — it is abandonment. A series left unfinished. A wait that stretches past a year with no update. We built Velvet Press to solve that.

Two new titles per week is ambitious. It is also achievable with the right tools and a hard editorial gate that does not move for pace. We are not trading speed for quality. We are trading inefficiency for both.

A reader who finishes Book One on a Friday and can start Book Two the following week is a reader who comes back. That is the whole plan.
