About Velvet Press

Velvet Press is an independent fiction imprint. We publish romance, thriller, and fantasy — on a schedule readers can count on, to a standard every title has to earn.

We release new titles every week. That pace is possible because we use modern writing tools for the first draft. What it does not change: every title goes through a human editorial pass, gets a professionally designed cover, and ships with a blurb that accurately describes what's inside. If it doesn't clear that gate, it doesn't ship.

Our first catalog leads with romance — the Wicked Hearts series and standalone titles in contemporary and historical settings. Thriller and fantasy follow as the catalog grows.

We think readers deserve more of what they want, faster, without sacrificing what makes a book worth reading.
